The Financial Services Commission, Mauritius (FSC) regulates and supervises the non-bank financial services sector and global business in Mauritius. Within “Legal Framework”, the Rules and Regulations section of its web site contains the major legislation relating to companies, trusts, insurance, the Stock Exchange, money laundering and income tax. The “Codes and Guidelines” section reproduces various codes for the conduct of business and prevention of money laundering. Other content includes details of the FSC’s enforcement powers and actions.
