The Academy of Experts is a professional body for expert witnesses in the UK and worldwide. The “Useful Cases” section under “Resources” on its web site contains notes on selected UK and US cases of relevance to experts and mediators. Access to the searchable online register is free, though registration is required.
The Expert Witness Institute (EWI) is an independent non-profitmaking body which services, supports, trains and educates experts. Site content accessible to non-members includes EWI’s Code of Professional Conduct and several articles.
Online directory set up to help members of the Law Society of Scotland source expert witnesses, professional witnesses and judicial experts across a range of specialisms. It is searchable by specialist area and location.
The Society of Expert Witnesses is an independent non-profitmaking body, run by expert witnesses for expert witnesses. Besides contact details, information on membership and news stories, there is a database of expert witnesses, but inclusion is only at the request of a member so it is not comprehensive.
